L’opera prodotta da AVHG, porta il pubblico nella stanza in cui si è isolato un ragazzo, Fosco (Bruno Petrosino), che ha scelto di non possedere più nulla, se non la voglia di comunicare, attraverso la forma desueta della cartolina, tutto il suo disperato, dignitoso e volontario isolamento.

Ad un primo giudizio superficiale basterebbe il termine disadattato per liquidare un giovanissimo uomo che decide di isolarsi in una stanza, proprio nell’età in cui, teoricamente, siamo chiamati alla vita. Lo fa rinchiudendosi per giorni, mesi, forse per sempre. È il fenomeno degli Hikikomori giapponesi, riconosciuto sempre di più anche in Italia. Fosco rappresenta questa realtà simbolicamente nudo, in una scena altrettanto nuda, all’interno di un quadrilatero luminescente. Il giovane ci comunica il suo disagio, il suo esilio interiore, la fuga dalle maschere di Pirandelliana memoria, scrivendo cartoline ai suoi ex-affetti, da cui ha preso le distanze.  Fosco ci parla dal nulla. I suoi appelli cadono nel vuoto. Gesti d'amore che forse nessuno ha voluto capire, raccolti nella deriva nichilista ed eroica delle sue parole. (A.Mocciola)
